Novice Somsai is a great kid, he's very bright and also very funny and witty
It's always a great pleasure studying with him.
after his exams in June he'd like to visit his family.
This will be the first time he will have seen them in 5 years
I've been asking if I could help to get him home for quite a while now.
Somsai's says there are lots of reasons why he hasn't been home sooner; the long journey (by bus, boat, foot), his family have very little spare money for the fare and little spare time as they work every day on their farm to feed the family.
Mobile reception is not great where his family live so phoning home to make plans is also difficult
He's asked if I'd like to go, I'd love to go but maybe he needs time alone with his family
I'm just glad now is the the time is right for a trip home
