sometimes get up at dawn to give Alms to the monks and novices at the temples where we teach, then it's sunrise yoga on a wooden platform overlooking the river nam khan (finding new postures whilst listening to the birds and watching the fisherman on the river below), followed by breakfast al fresco (superbowl - fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt and granola - delicious !), back to prepare lessons with the other volunteers (sharing ideas, giggling and learning so much grammar ! who knows what a modal verb is ?) and in the afternoon it's teaching the wonderful novice monks at their temples, going to the public library which is open to all the novices to practice their conversational English with tourists and volunteer teachers, and occasionally there's time for a massage (only £4 !!!!), and after it's all done plenty of time for beer laos (fab...YOUUU...lussss), dinner and a spot of shopping at the night market
